XFX HD 6770 Review Model HD677XZNLC

This is a user review for the XFX HD 6770 model HD677XZNLC graphics card. See techinical specs below. This card was purchased at Amazon.com and has a $20 mail in rebate. http:www.amazon.comgpproductB004Z5GRVWref=oh_o01_s01_i00_detailsMusic in this video provided by Kevin MacLeod of http:incompetech.comstaticmusicTemps idle 35-40 C. Load in World of Warcraft 55-60 C. Highest temp I've seen with fan on auto when finding stable overclock = 74 C running Furmark on high settings for over 30 minutes - way more demanding than any games on the card. Temps will of course vary based on ambient in the room the computer is in and the case typetemp as well. My office and case stay fairly cool (room temp is 67-69 F in cooler months & 70-72 in summer). The card has a goodeffective cooler on it.Graphics Card Specs:GPU Manufacturer: AMD GPU Chipset: Radeon HD 6770 Number of GPUs: 1 Overclocked: No Core Clock Speed: 850MHz RAMDAC Clock: 400MHz Shader Clock: 1700MHz Stream Processors: 800 Texture Units: 40 ZStencil ROP Units: 64 Color ROP Units: 16 Compute Power: Up to 1.36 TFLOPSMemory Bandwidth: 76.8 GBs (max) Memory Clock: 1200MHz (4800MHz Effective) Memory Type: GDDR5 Video Memory: 1024MB (1GB)Full DirectX 11 support OpenGL 4.1 supportMax Resolution: 2560x1600AMD CrossfireX compatible3D ReadyPCI Express 2.1Video Connectors: Dual-Link DVIHDMIVGABlu-ray and Blu-ray 3D supportRecommended Power Supply: Minimum 450 watt (per AMD reference) or 500 watt (per XFX for this specific model)Gaming Relevant Specs:CPU: Intel i3 2120 3.3GHz GPU: XFX HD 6770 overclocked to 930MHz Memory: 8GB (2x 4GB) Corsair Vengeance Blu PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 HDD: 7200 RPM 1TB PSU: 500 watt

Dual AMD Radeon HD 6770 Unboxing

Not our best video, but it gives a quick preview of two unique Radeon HD 6770 cards that we will be reviewing. One is from Gigabyte and is fanless, so it is 100% quiet. The second is a Flex Edition from Sapphire, which allows use to use three DVI monitors in Eyefinity without any special adapters.

Unboxing of the AMD Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3, an amazing graphics card that works great with most games, such as Call of Duty. I really needed this upgrade, and it was worth it.

1080p Crysis Comparison Radeon 5770 vs 6850

Comparing the HIS Radeon HD 5770 and PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 graphics cards. The Radeon 6850 showed faster framerates at higher specs, compared to the 5770. No overclocking, no tweaks. Both video cards feature 1GB DDR5 memory. Each require only a single 75W, 6-pin power cable and a minimum recommended 450W power supply. The Crysis GPU timedemo was run for each setting and card. The first loop was ignored, the second was shot for this video, and portions of the third and fourth loops were captured by Fraps. The precise times and framerates shown were those of the second flyby, as shown during the third pass. For the sake of the tests, ALL settings were set to the same value for each spec run, including object quality and motion blur. Of course, settings can be altered to suit taste or improve performance. For example, lowering postprocessing to high (on the very high run) resulted in a 6 fps increase on the Radeon 6850.I am not a professional computer guy. I cannot offer recommendations or advice on your specific hardware. This video shows the results of my video card upgrade only, and your experiences may vary.HP Pavilion P6230Y Windows7 Premium 64-Bit Phenom II X4 810 Quad-Core @ 2.6 GHz (Stock Speed) 8 GB DDR3 (PC3-10600) 500W Cooler Master (?) PSUI agree this processor is limiting the performance of these video cards. Despite the relatively weak performance of this CPU (my first quad-core) it still suits my needs admirably. Even so, the thought of upgrading it just to see how it improves performance is very tempting. Before the 5770, with integrated graphics, Crysis at 1080p (very high) was absolutely choking at ONE frame per second. I was blown away by the performance gains from the 5770 - and then again after upgrading to the 6850. This video was made to share that excitement with you.Reached 100,000 views Oct 13, 2011. HIS Radeon HD 5770 Unboxing Install

Brand new HIS Radeo HD 5770 PCIe graphics card. Includes redemption code for Dirt 2. Unboxing and install to check for fitment for those of you worried about space. Note for anyone intending to run 3 monitors on this, one of your displays must be connected to the displayport. Also, I wasn't able to get 3 monitors to work in XP so looks like Windows 7 is a must as well. Correct me if I'm wrong. Drivers are still kinda clunky and immature. They work okay, just doesn't feel very polished. I'd check for updates frequently. Specs and review here: http:www.guru3d.comarticleradeon-hd-5770-review-test

XFX Radeon HD 6770 review

This graphics card is so hard core, that it needs a secondary power source besides you using the PCI-E slot for it's power. Highly recommend a PSU with a 6-pin power connector or order one from newegg to be able to use it.
