Ready for 4K? AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Review

New budget PC build! http:youtu.beZOy8GHc1tkIDo you think the AMD R9 295X2 is worth it?Click to Subscribe! http:bit.lySubAustinIn this video I take a look at the all new AMD Radeon R9 295X2, a dual GPU graphics card based on the R9 290X Hawaii GPU. With 8GB of GDDR5 memory and a built-in 120mm water cooling loop the new Radeon 295 is a beast of a card for 4K gaming. For testing I used the R9 295X2 and MSI R9 290X Lightning with a 32" Sharp 4K monitor. The test bench uses an Intel Core i7-4770K @ 4.2GHz, 8GB 1866MHz memory, Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H, 120GB Samsung 840 EVO and 1000W Corsair RM1000 power supply.Twitter http:twitter.comaustinnotduncan Facebook https:www.facebook.comaustinnotduncan Google+

1080p Crysis Comparison Radeon 5770 vs 6850

Comparing the HIS Radeon HD 5770 and PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 graphics cards. The Radeon 6850 showed faster framerates at higher specs, compared to the 5770. No overclocking, no tweaks. Both video cards feature 1GB DDR5 memory. Each require only a single 75W, 6-pin power cable and a minimum recommended 450W power supply. The Crysis GPU timedemo was run for each setting and card. The first loop was ignored, the second was shot for this video, and portions of the third and fourth loops were captured by Fraps. The precise times and framerates shown were those of the second flyby, as shown during the third pass. For the sake of the tests, ALL settings were set to the same value for each spec run, including object quality and motion blur. Of course, settings can be altered to suit taste or improve performance. For example, lowering postprocessing to high (on the very high run) resulted in a 6 fps increase on the Radeon 6850.I am not a professional computer guy. I cannot offer recommendations or advice on your specific hardware. This video shows the results of my video card upgrade only, and your experiences may vary.HP Pavilion P6230Y Windows7 Premium 64-Bit Phenom II X4 810 Quad-Core @ 2.6 GHz (Stock Speed) 8 GB DDR3 (PC3-10600) 500W Cooler Master (?) PSUI agree this processor is limiting the performance of these video cards. Despite the relatively weak performance of this CPU (my first quad-core) it still suits my needs admirably. Even so, the thought of upgrading it just to see how it improves performance is very tempting. Before the 5770, with integrated graphics, Crysis at 1080p (very high) was absolutely choking at ONE frame per second. I was blown away by the performance gains from the 5770 - and then again after upgrading to the 6850. This video was made to share that excitement with you.Reached 100,000 views Oct 13, 2011. Radeon R9 280X Non Reference Comparison Product Showcase

Check out all the latest AMD Radeon R9 280X video cards from various manufacturers to see what suits you the best. They have different features despite their similarities to last generation's 7970. They will also crossfire with 7970 without a problem. Although these graphics cards don't perform that different, the higher end coolers will overclock better and will have a longer lifespan.Where to Buy: Canada: http:ncix.casearch?categoryid=0&q=r9+280x US: http:us.ncix.comsearch?categoryid=0&q=r9+280xJoin the conversation on our community: Forums: Facebook: https:www.facebook.comNCIXdotCOM Twitter: https:twitter.comNCIXdotCOM Newsletter: http:www.ncix.caarticle.php?mode=newsletterDownload our Mobile App: Android: http:tinyurl.comblqeqaj iOS: http:tinyurl.coma49ngav Windows: http:bit.ly1guO0Pn
